Employees at a specialist dental surgery are celebrating after being crowned the best practice in the South West and Wales at the Dentistry Awards 2008.
The coveted industry title adds to the surgery’s runners-up title for Best Specialist Referral Practice received at the 2007 UK Private Dentistry Awards.
Dr Gaston King said the dental centre’s latest accolade was down to the high quality of his staff, who "excelled themselves" in 2008.
"We are delighted to win this year," he commented. "We believe we are second to none in the field of periodontal treatment and dental implants . "
The Saltford surgery provides state-of-the-art facilities and up-to-date treatment practices to patients from around 300 dentists from practices across the South West.
Dr King has worked in dental clinics around the world and also spent 10 years as a senior lecturer at the London School of Medicine and Dentistry .
