The Peterborough Dental Access Centre is celebrating after picking up a prestigious award at the fourth annual British Dental Association (BDA) Honours and Awards Dinner in London.
The centre scooped the BDAs Good Practice Scheme Practice of the Year award, which recognises outstanding commitment to patient care.
The 20-strong dental team from Peterborough was praised for delivering a comprehensive range of NHS services, seven days a week, to local patients with high needs.
Other awards were presented by dental care associations and the British Dental Trade Association (BDTA), which supports the BDA Honours and Awards event.
There were also presentations to individuals by the BDA in recognition of their service to dentistry .
John Drummond, President of the BDA, said: 'This event has become a true celebration of the dental team, giving recognition to the commitment and talent of some very special individuals."
"We were delighted to be joined by so many friends and colleagues from across dentistry to mark these achievements."
He added: "The Good Practice Scheme is recognised as a benchmark for excellence with 1,250 members who have successfully completed the programme, with a further 2,000 practices working towards membership."
